DAVID NINI

Mr. Nini co-founded Lantana Oil
& Gas Partners in January 2003. Prior to founding Lantana, Mr. Nini
worked with Torch Energy Advisors, Inc. from late 2000 until December
2002. Responsibilities included asset acquisitions, due diligence
and PSA negotiations.
In 1993, he entered the natural gas commodity trading business at
Coastal Gas Marketing until 1995, when he moved to Calgary as part
of the group headed by J.P. Bryan that took over Gulf Canada Resources.
There he led U.S. gas trading on behalf of Gulf Canada, building a
third party U.S. business to 1.5 BCF/month.
Mr. Nini conceptualized and opened a Houston-based office for Gulf
Canada to handle all U.S. gas marketing efforts, both physical and
financial, Gulf Trading had first year sales over $200 million.
Mr. Nini graduated in 1989 from Texas Tech University with a BA in
Public Relations and Marketing. His career following college involved
prospect development, title research, land and mineral owner negotiations,
oil & gas leasing, title opinions and curative for several majors. |
ANDY TAURINS
Principal |
Prior to founding Lantana Oil
and Gas Partners, Mr. Taurins worked with Waterous & Co. leading
over $270 million in asset and corporate sales for a variety of companies
from small privately-owned companies to large publicly traded companies
with a geographical focus in the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, San Juan
Basin and the Mid-Continent area.
Mr. Taurins received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University
of Texas at Austin in 1990. He started his career at Coffman Exploration
and was responsible for acquisition evaluations. After moving to
Houston in 1993, Mr. Taurins spent several years performing reserves
evaluation work for Tenneco Energy. He then joined Agip Petroleum
where he gained expertise in reservoir engineering through the management
of Agips Gulf of Mexico assets and complete preparation of
annual reserve reports.
Mr. Taurins rounded out his career by joining Waterous & Company
in 2000. There he focused his efforts on all facets of the divestment
process, from business development, asset evaluation through the
completion of transactions.

MELINDA FAUST
Managing Director

Ms. Faust began her career in the oil and gas industry when she moved to Houston from her hometown of New Orleans in 1998 to work for a small offshore independent. In 2000 she became Marketing Director for then start-up, DrillingInfo as one of their first hires. After aiding in the growth of DrillingInfo to over 5,000 clients and 60+ employees, Melinda resigned from DI in 2004 to pursue an opportunity in the racing/motorsport industry with Tracy W. Krohn, CEO of W&T Offshore, and his racing team.
In early 2007, Melinda returned to the oil and gas industry as Director, Acquisitions & Divestitures for Noble Royalties under the direction of Bill Albrecht, now President of OXY USA. Two years later she re-joined DrillingInfo as Director of Business Development with a focus on A&D for E&P's. Then in July 2011, Melinda returned to the A&D market, joining Lantana Oil & Gas Partners as Managing Director of Business Development.
Ms. Faust is Founder and President of ADAM-Houston, the Acquisition, Divestitures and Mergers energy networking organization, which is 220 members strong. Melinda also serves on the Advisory Committee for a sister organization, ADAM-Tulsa. Other committee involvement includes IPAA Business Development committee, TIPRO Business Development committee, IPAA Golf committee, and SPE-GCS Golf Committee. Melinda is a member of IPAA, TIPRO, and Houston Producers Forum, among others.

GREG WHITMIRE
Multimedia Director/IT |
Mr. Whitmire joined the firm
of Lantana Oil and Gas Partners in 2005. He received his multimedia
design degree from the Art Institute of Houston with honors and has
over 20 years of design experience. His primary focus is creating
innovative marketing material using cutting-edge technology.
In 2002 Mr. Whitmire accepted a position as a Geoscience Technologist
with Rock Solid Images and did extensive work in the Gulf of Mexico
region and International areas. His Primary duties included developing
Interactive Compact Discs that highlighted the firms Services, Products
and Company Technology as well as Market branding for Rock Solid Images
Most Popular Product "MOSS". He worked closely with clients
such as Burlington Resources, Dominion Exploration & Production,
Inc., and Marathon Oil Corporation on Content Development and Data
Management Projects.
Prior to joining Rock Solid Images, Mr. Whitmire managed a Design
Team for Waterous & Co., as a Multimedia Developer and Graphic
Artist responsible for Authoring Multimedia Oil and Gas Divestiture
Presentation data books to CD-R and DVD-R. He worked with Petroleum
Engineers, Geologists and Production Crews on short movies highlighting
Waterous & Co.'s current Oil and Gas offerings. |
STEPHANIE WOODS
Information Services Director |
Ms. Woods joined Lantana Oil
and Gas Partners in 2010 to evaluate clients' production and reserve
data, perform decline curve analysis and forecast economics. She also
generates regional studies on emerging plays and manages Lantana's
internal information structure.
Prior to entering the energy sector, Ms. Woods provided a variety
of information and technology services in academic libraries and the
title insurance industry. She received her Master's Degree in Information
Science from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2008, where
she studied user-centered design, information architecture, research
methodology and the latest trends in digital search and retrieval.
She received her B.A. in English Literature from Centenary College
of Louisiana in 2001, and graduated with honors from both programs.

LAUREN LaFLEUR
Associate- Engineer |
Mrs. LaFleur joined Lantana Oil & Gas Partners in October 2011. Prior to her work at Lantana, Mrs. LaFleur worked for ExxonMobil as a Reservoir Engineer since 2007. She worked assets in Mobile Bay, East Texas, and the Friendswood area. Responsibilities included reservoir surveillance/simulation, drillwell evaluations, preferential purchase right assessments, and business planning. In 2006, she worked with Citgo Petroleum as an Operations Engineering Intern in the Fluid Catalytic Cracking group.
Mrs. LaFleur grew up in Shreveport, LA. She graduated with honors from Louisiana Tech University with degrees in Biology and Chemical Engineering.
